Emily Carr House is located at 207 Government Street in Victoria, B.C. Our main hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, May 1st is our opening day for the 2019 season.
Adults: $ 8.00
Seniors/ Students: $ 7.00
Youth: ( 6-18 years) $ 5.00
Family: ( 2 adults and their youth): $ 20.00
5 years and under: free
School/ Day Camp Field Trips
$4.50 per student, No Charge for accompanying adults. Please contact us directly for information regarding sponsorship on an as needed basis.
We offer school programs for K-12, plus ESL programmes for all ages. School programming can be focused on many aspects of the curriculum through the life of Emily Carr. ” Emily Carr and her Family: The House of Small”; “Emily Carr: The Rebel”; “Emily Carr: The Artist and Author.”
Programmes are also available which feature a drawing activity.
“Artist, Author, Lover of Nature” There are so many aspects to Emily Carr, her art, her writings, her life and her commitment to First Peoples and their culture.
Group tours may incorporate a variety of themes upon request.
These group tours, special programming and private viewings are available year round but only by special booking.
Whenever possible our aim is make the house available for viewing. These private viewings provide behind the scenes insight into Emily Carr and the Carr family life. Cost based upon the duration of the tour.
For visiting scholars and researchers we try to provide you with access to the house and archives.
